    1. [ORLINCOL] Debbra Gae Davison --Death
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: marysday Surnames: Dimmitt, Davison, Shepard, Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.oregon.counties.lincoln/6504/mb.ashx Message Board Post: The News Times, Newport, OR 97365 May 6th, 2013 Debbra Gae Davison April 23 1956 ~ April 21 2013 She was born Debbra Gae Dimmitt in Tacoma, Washington but grew up in Newport, Oregon where she enjoyed the beach, surfing and forever having her toes in the sand. Debbie was a free spirit who captured the heart of Kenneth Wayne Shepard, her first husband who she wed in 1976. Kenny and Debbie had two children, Mick and Sarah who are survivors of both parents as Kenny passed away in 2002. During her life Debbie had an infectious laughter and always showed kindness to everyone she encountered. Her beauty and strong willed personality were qualities that drew her second husband, Steven Owen Davison, to be her faithful companion forever as they wed on July 3, 1991. They enjoyed everything together and they were true soul mates. Debbie and Steve lived in Tigard, Oregon for many years. Debbie's favorite past time was tending her garden and playing in the earth. Her garden was her sanctuary and her backyard her palace. She was an avid collector of everything hummingbirds and Faberge eggs, which gave her much joy and pleasure. Debbie was all about family. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Steve Davison of Tigard, OR; Son, Mick Shepard of Las Vegas, NV; Daughter, Sarah Pryszo of Beaverton, OR; Mother, Darlene Davis of Longview, WA; Sister, Candy Porter of Longview, WA; Brothers, Rockie Dimmitt of Keizer, OR and George Porter of Las Vegas, NV; Grandchildren, Chase Shepard and Lyric Shepard of Las Vegas, NV along with loving cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Debbie battled many years with Hepatitis C. Her family would like to send their sincere appreciation to the staff of Hopewell House Hospice for the special care they provided and the humanity that was shown to Debbie and her family. Many miracles were witnessed and unconditional love was shared during the final moments, which we are forever grateful and beyond blessed to have experienced. Debbie will eternally be walking beside us, in our hearts as we travel through this lifetime together. God has a very special place for her and her family is accepting and humbled to know she is with her Father. Debbie touched so many people and her family and friends will be arranging a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date at her favorite beach; Ona Beach in Newport, OR. Debbie wanted her ashes scattered in the ocean in which her Grandparents (Al & Leota Owings) had been honored. Debbie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. One of her dearest wishes was to see and hold the first child of her daughter Sarah. She was a wonderful caring Grandmother; never to be forgotten. All should feel lucky to have had Debbie in their lives. God Bless her soul and to have her spirit with us will be a blessing.
