    3. Hi, I'm new to this particular list, just joined it and the Linn co. a couple of days ago. I am searching for ANY information on Sarah Roxanne Burden Fields Macey. She was married originally to Ebenezer Fields and had several children: Betsy, b. 1800, no further info on her. Delilah, b. 1805, m. Christopher Taylor. Thomas R., b. 5/4/1809, m. Rebecca Riggs. Peggy Sarah, b. 1810, m. Peter Renshaw James, b. 2/28/1811, m. Sarah Elizabeth McDonald Lizey, b. 1814, m. Ruddy Morgan Ebenezer Jr., m. Elizabeth Taylor Stephen, b. 4/4/1836, m. Marian McDaniels Eldridge, b. June 1820, m. Cynthia Ann Clark This family was of Ray co Mo. and after Ebenezer Sr. died, Sarah Roxanne married my ggg grandfather, Henry Macey in Ray co. Mo. During the researching of my Macey/Joy lines, I have become acquainted with descendants of Sarah. Their family has the theory that Sarah and Henry Macey emigrated to Lane or Linn co. Or. where some of Sarah's children had moved to. This move on the old couples part would have taken place in around 1850. At their age, they 'hit the Oregon Trail'. My cousins and I doubt that old Henry would have left his children and grandchildren that were in Mo. and moved to Oregon, but we don't know for sure. However, I recently found Sarah Roxanne FIELDS listed in the Linn co census of 1850, living with her son, Thomas R. Fields. But no sign of old Henry....... Her daughter Delilah is supposed to have went to Lane co. Oregon. We all (Fields AND Macey descendants) want very badly to find out where Sarah died and is buried, thereby perhaps finding Henry also. My family has always believed that Henry died and was buried in Ray co. Mo. but no proof of this. Perhaps he died on the trail. ?.?.? Surely there must be some descendants of Sarah still out here in Oregon, and I would very much appreciate ANY info whatsoever that anyone might have. Email to the list or to me privately. Thanks, with lots of hope, Pat, in Oregon also ----- Original Message ----- From: <ORLANE-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: <ORLANE-D@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 26, 1999 1:10 PM Subject: ORLANE-D Digest V99 #1
