I am searching for information on or about Oman THOMSON who was christened on 22 July 1846 in South Ronaldsay, Orkney Islands. Oman was the son of John THOMSON and Margaret ANNAL. Oman was one of 8 children. His siblings were Robert, Isabella, James, Gilbert, Margaret, John and William who was my great grandfather. Margaret Annal Thomson died in 1850 at the age of 50, John Thomson died in 1861 around the age of 61. The family is listed on the 1851 Census for South Ronaldsay and Burray. At the time Oman was 4 years old. Any assistance in finding information on Oman or his family line would be greatly appreciated. I have information to share as well. Thank you. Diane Thompson-Davison
