Good eve, listers. I have just discovered a link to this family in my line and am attempting to tie it in. Would anyone happen to be descended from the HEDDLE family that came to SA in 1851 on the "Marion"? ( James and John HEDDLE) Or have this family in their tree? My Margaret HEDDLE [possibly the daughter of Robert HEDDLE and Marrion HEPBURN?], married William WORK [possibly the child of William WORK and Marrion Hutchison]and had a child named Margaret WORK C: 25 Nov 1832, among others[Mary(1815), William Balfour Work(1819), James Work(1822), Alexander Russell Work(1824)]. She (Margaret Work)came to Aust in 1851 on the "Marion" with some HEDDLEs, IRVINEs and others. Margaret WORK married James LOWE. I am hoping to confirm her background.
