I've been watching this list for some time. I never see any Kirkness's. My family was all Thomas, Williams or Johns for hundreds of years in Deerness. Is anyone else researching Kirkness from Deerness? My line finally came to Southern Manitoba, Canada in 1912. There is no mailing list for that surname that I know of. Heather Dechka
