    1. Re: [ORKNEY-L] How to install the 1881 Census CDs properly

    3. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! I thought it was my laptop (and total lack of know how). I just received, and very expediently I might add, my LDS CD ROM Census Library and was experiencing the frustration of not being able to get at anything. I am VERY new to all of this and was thoroughly amazed when this email came in. I really do appreciate the way the web 'family' does not hesitate to pass on helpful information. Apart from a lack of expertise in the genealogy department I'm not too hot on PC technology either! Thanks again Doreen Hoy (Australia) - seeking Aberdeen names Ingram, Abel, Innes, Forbes, Sherriffs, Omand, Craigie and England names Hoy and Gauntlett! ----- Original Message ----- From: <finn@ionet.net> To: <ORKNEY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, June 18, 1999 8:55 AM Subject: [ORKNEY-L] How to install the 1881 Census CDs properly > Listers - the LANARK-D@rootsweb.com list I also subscribe to had a helpful post to insure the > successful installation of the new 1881 CD set.
