    3. If you go to your local Mormon family history library in Vancouver, you'll be able to order a copy of the South Ronaldsay Parish Registers on micro-film. You'll be able to read the entire film for yourself. The same goes for census records. The cost will only be a few dollars. This is much, much cheaper than engaging a Record Agent to read the very same film. Also, a record agent will miss items that are obvious to you. If you're really keen, then you can buy a copy of the film from Edinburgh for £40.
