Perhaps they changed the name of the street. They often did this when there was a duplication of street names. This happened in the district where I was brought up, in Edinburgh. Bonaly Road was changed to Harrison Gardens because there was another Bonaly Road at Colinton. Some of the Gunns moved to Edinburgh as there was lots of work for Stonemasons etc. I guess thats why I was born in Auld Reekie. Elizabeth
