I will try your method also, as it looks interesting. Wouldn't it be great if all the other census from 1821 on could be viewed in the same way. I managed to find more information on the Gunns. The Johnstons and Gunns appear in the Ancestral File although I have not connected them to the submitter. My GGGrandfather, George Gunn 1848, is on the list along with other Gunns and a few Johnstons. The submitters are all in the States, mainly Utah. George's father was Adam Gunn and he appears in the 1881 census living with his daughter in Kirkwall. I know this is correct as I have a copy of his death certificate. Did you manage to connect Morrison Gunn and your Halcro? Regards, Elizabeth
