I am trying to find out the origin of the village of Quindry, It is small settlement in the north of South Ronaldsay. It is about two miles south of St. Margaret's Hope. Does anyone know of any books about the Orkney Islands or South Ronaldsay in particular which might be of some help? Perhaps a library which might have a history of early settlers.
