Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone out there was familiar with Holm Orkney. My great great grandfather William Campbell was a farmer of 100 acres in Deepdale Holm. He was listed in the 1881 and 1891 census I believe he died sometime in the early 1900's. I was just curious if deepdale was the name of his farrm or is it a village? I found it on a Mainland Orkney map and was wondering is it still farm land or has it been developed? I hoping in the next year I can get out there for a visit so that I can see where my family farmed. Also can someone tell me what Quoy stands for.
