If someone who has this book on Orkney Surnames would be willing to look up the surname, Horne, I would be most interested to find out if there is any long term history associated with this name. I can't seem to find out how long my Horne family was associated with the Orkneys, although I know my Great Grandfather called it Home. Any help would be most appreciated.
