Hi Tom Thank you for responding to my post. It is very interesting to learn that these houses are still occupied. My great great grandfather Gilbert Thomson, his son John Thomson and then grandson Robert Thomson were all owner's of Greystone. Supposedly they did pay rent on the land according to one of the letters. Newhall was owned by Robert's brother James Thomson. These were the brother's of my great grandfather William Thomson. Do you by any chance know the present occupants of these homes? Thanks again for your information.
