My great great grandmother was Margaret Garrioch born 1831. She was the daughter of Archibald Garrioch and Janet Garrioch, and they originated in Holm and Paplay. I know quite a lot about Margaret now, so if your line of enquiry follows mine I would be happy to share information. Incidentally the traditional scottish naming pattern helped me to find this ancestor, as my grandfather was given Garrioch as his middle name. Regards John Kelday
