I have an entry for an ancestor that I am unsure of and am hoping that someone can help clarify it for me please. I have a Robert EGLINGTON b. 1823 Bothwell, LKS, Sct who married Cath ROSS b. 1829 OKI, Sct. Cath's parent is listed as Count Ross Ic NOLLI. The Nolli appears to be in capitals. Can anyone please clarify this name? Would his Christian name be Count? or would he be a 'Count'? If this is the case, what did it involve? Does anyone have any information on the EGLINGTON or ROSS family from OKI in their lines? Would be happy to exchange information.
