Have you seen this new function on Rootsweb ??? Now the Archive searches you conduct can search ALL Lists for the name you seek. Just because we subscribe to the Orkney List, doesn't mean all the OTHER folks out there never mention Orkney places or surnames. This could be just the thing for someone who lost a few days of messages - open the newest postings for your surname. Or search the same old ORKNEY List archives and filter out the other lists.
