    1. [ORKNEY] Ref: Worke in Calcutta & Indian records

    3. Transcripts of the Church records for India are available on micro-film through your local Family History Library. The records are the equivalent to Bishop's Transcripts. They are sorted by the Presidency in which the event occurred. There were three Presidencies deriving from the East India Company rule of India. They were Madras, Bombay and the largest being Bengal. The records start in the 17th century and finish around Indian independence in the 1940s. There are calenders (ie quasi indexes) available on micro-film as well. Using these it should not be too difficult to locate a copy of your Henry Worke's baptism in Calcutta.
