I've been pretty successful ordering exact certificates from the Scottish Registrar General. The next document that I'd like to get - a birth certificate - I have all the info (parents, place, year) but the *exact* day. I was hoping that someone on the list might know if I could still order this certificate. In the papers that I have from their website, it sounds like they would search their records for a time frame of a year, but I'd like to know if anyone on this list has requested a certificate with this one piece of info missing.
