I am trying to find out more about the lives, ancestors and descendants of my ggggrandparents George CUSITER (1793-1872) and Jane or Jean ISBISTER (c1795-1857) of Nether Hobbiston, Stennes, Firth. Both are buried in Finston Old Churchyard. Is Jane a sister of David or Piggy or of another local or not so local Isbister family? Maybe there are clues in the names of the couple's children who appear to be: Jane CURSETER (b 1819, m James FIRTH) Margaret CURSITER (b 1820, m John LEASK) Anne CURSITER (b 1824) John CURSITER (b 1826) George Firth CUSITER (1830-1874, m Mary YOUNG Dalkeith -my ancestors) James Isbister CURSITER (b 1832, m Margaret LEASK) Peter Loutit CURSITER (b 1837) Catharine CURSITER (b 1839, m Adam FLETT) John Firth CUSITER (1842-1866) Roger Kelly -Midlothian, Scotland
