Death Notice: 15 March 1844- At Cobourg, on 8th inst., in the 71st year of his age, Jacob CORRIGALL, a native of Orkney, North Britain, & for many years a partner in the Hon. Hudson's Bay Company. Mr. Corrigall removed from Albany Factory to Cobourg in the summer of 1840. Marriage Notices: 31 August 1836- On 9th inst., at Brooklyn, N.Y. The Reverend Alexander GALE, of Hamilton, Upper Canada, to Margaret, youngest daughter of James Scarth, Kirkwall, Orkney. 9 Sep 1848- On 28th June, at Moose Factory, Hudson's Bay, James S. CLOUSTON, of Stormness, Orkney to Margaret, eldest daughter of Robert S. Mills, of the Hon. Hudson's Bay Company's Service. 5 Jan 1843- At Kingston, on 22nd ult., at the residence of F. A. Harper, Thomas RAE, youngest son of the late John Rae, of Wyre Isle, Orkney, Scotland to Helen, youngest daughter of the late LT. Col. Donald McPherson of the 4th Royal Veteran Battalion.
