    3. A fellow South Ronaldsay & Burray researcher, Jim Lawson, painstakingly took the time to photograph and transcribe for me and, hence, other researchers, several of the 19th-century gravestones at the St. Lawrence/Burray Cemetery during his August visit to Orkney. He has added them to his great list of Photograph Contributions at SouthRonaldsay.net. I believe he will also be sending me even more "People" and Places" (farms, houses, landscapes) in the next few months, mainly for South Ronaldsay, which I will also be adding to my site. If you have family history from Burray, the gravestone images are worth viewing, especially if you are unable to travel to Orkney. Jim can be reached for his gravestone transcriptions via a link on his photo pages. Click the link on below page for Jim's name to see his newest photos: < http://www.southronaldsay.net/1821/notes/sr~photolist_contributors.html > I've had contact with several of you who also have expressed intentions of contributing photographs, for family history research for South Ronaldsay and Burray... but I still await your Contributions! Looking forward to hearing from you. 3. Thank you again, Lisa - I have pix I can send you, but there's writing on them that I want edited out, and my own scanner doesn't have the resolution that they have. Can you edit them? I don't have the proper software. They are copies of old pictures owned by Mrs. Ina Kennedy Laird, who now lives on the old Bremner property known as Gallowhill. 3. Thank you so much Lisa for all the great work that you, & others, contribute to the field of genealogical research. I think you're wonderful to make so much info readily available to assist fellow researchers.
