William Muir born on Sanday, June 18, 1843 married Jane Elphinstone Mary Peace, born about 1831 on Eday, married William Wallace in Orkney Jean Peace born 1800 married John Elphinstone in Stronsay, Orkney Mary Harcus born 1862, married Marcus Elphinstone on Eday, Orkney When my husband and I were in Orkney in 1990, he went lobster fishing with an Edwin Groat, a lobster fisherman who was born and raised on the Island and died there a couple of year ago. A man named Tulloch (his first name escapes me) lived and died in Wadena, Saskatchewan. He was from Orkney and was a sort of cousin of my husband's father. I hope this is helpful to someone.
