Hi Fiona- I have a copy & will contact you regarding Jeff Burgher who wrote the book- a family /social history . Well done I might add- my Westray Burgars & Thomsons are there- my 4x grgrmother is listed on page 53 : "ELIZABETH BURGAR, 5th child of JOHN BURGAR and CHRISTIAN HARCUS . chr. 12th April, 1783. Nothing more is known of Elizabeth." Thanks to Jeff's hard work -and 2 early 19th C letters sent to Nova Scotia from Westray- the connection was made. Jeff also publishes a Burgher Family Newsletter.
