Hi Lynette I noted your message about an Elizabeth Cromerty marrying a William Sinclair. I am also interested in an earlier Elizabeth (Bess) Cromertie and wonder if she is in your tree? My Bess married John Barnetson(e) (the younger) in 1719 in Walls. I have no idea who her parents were. John and Bess are my 6x great grandparents. I also have a Benjamin Cromarty marrying a Robina/Jacobina Stout about 1820. My Orkney interests are STOUT MILLAR BARNETSON(E) and CROMERTY(IE) all of Hoy.
