The Index listing of the following 1878 marriage was posted to the Ayrshire List a few hours ago. I asked Irene if she'd allow me to forward it to the Orkney List, she went the extra mile and transcribed the marriage notice from the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald for me to post. These families are not ones I'm researching so I don't know anything further about either of them.
