Hello Lisa and Co I am still trying to prove the parentage of Margaret McDonald born South Ronaldsay in about 1805 she married James INGLIS a fisherman in about 1829 and they then lived in Gravesennd Kent near London where all their children were born. They had 6 children the last of which Christian Ellen was my GGGrandmother. James was born in Kent but his parents came from Berwick-on-tweed and Dunbar on the Scotish border. I am at a loss to explain how they would have met and am not even completely sure about where they married. Anyone got an interest or can help me out. Regards Christine M Stone
