I'll keep my eyes peeled for more like this, Dave. :-) I knew he was your ancestor. Sorry I couldn't just willy-nilly send the image but because of my "understanding" with GROS, I can't be over-generous with sending images everywhere. :-( The whole thing w/ GROS is very bittersweet for me (as I sure do have a lot of images) -- but I do know I help other researchers by my trying to get transcribed excerpts out there in the public. BTW, as I've been transcribing the civil births, I double-check with the marriage registers to see if the marriage date given in each register is the same. Frequently, it is not.
