    3. Thanks Bruce. That is a really nice shot of Melsetter House. I was more interested in the Thomson line. I had Thomson's marry into my Smith line but much later - 1850. I have Smith and Nicolson as my main names with Rich, Robson, Cromarty, Groat, Sutherland, Sinclair and a host of other names marrying in. They were all from around Longhope. I also had a George Thomson Smith born 1887 who went to America?? I have a suspicion that he may have gone to HBC.
