I would be interested in the birth extract for Robina. I do not have this information. James and Jean may well have been in Edinburgh in 1861. I think I have the marriage of Robina in South Leith on January 20, in 1850, when she married William HULBERT, a seaman. Robina (no mention of the Fotheringham) is described as the daughter of James SLATER, Carpenter, Kirkwall.
