Hello, I'm a Linkletter with ancestry in the Orkney Islands. I know my direct ancestor is Cristo ae Lingklatr (Linkletter or Linklater evolved) and he lived in 1400's Orkney. Through my research, I found stories that Cristo was a descendant of Thorfinn the Mighty, Jarl of the Orkneys circa 1020. My question is; does anyone know which of Thorfinn's sons, Paul or Erlend, was connected with the Sinclair lineage of which the Linkletters descend????
