Hi Alison I also have a Catherine Spence? married to a James Taylor but my Catherine's parents were Robert Spence and Catherine Johnston.James's parents were James Taylor and Margaret Johnston. James (junior)died in 1875 at Leaquoy Marwick and Catherine died at her son Peter's?home in Gueth, Harray in 1888.
