The above was MP for Orkney and Shetland from 1922 to 1935. Where could I get information about him and his family? He was married to Gertrude Williamson, daughter of John Williamson, 1843-1888, Grain Merchant in Kirkwall. It is she that I am really interested ingetting more info. on. She died in Edinburgh in 1964, but is recorded on a gravestone in St. Magnus kirkyard.I do not know if she was buried in Kirkwall or where her husband is buried. TIA Archie Gilbert, Kinross.
