Dear Walter In the 1851 census John and Catherine Louttit were 58 and 57 respectively John was born on Stromness and Catherine born on Burray. Are there any other censuses that indicate Catherine's birthplace as Burray? If that was where she was born, I don't mind at all looking for her in the parish records and trying to locate her birth.
