Hello, everyone ~ I am researching my HEUSTON family. They settled in Bonanza, OR in 1912, coming from Bartlesville, OK. I especially like to track down people who remember the family and can tell me "stories" of their memories of the family. I'm also trying to find information on the following people, each of whom was married to my grandmother, Fannie Lyndall Celeste Heuston: Earl LUNDY, E.T.WOOD, Charles CHAMBERLAIN She married LUNDY first & had 2 children. Eldon (who spent most of his adult life in the Sisters/Redmond/Bend area) and Merlyn who died at about 9 months of age. She married WOOD second and had 1 child - Ardis Rose, whom she placed with the Huettle family within 3 days of her birth, with the intent to let them adopt her. At about 1 year of age, she changed her mind and there was a huge court battle for her to regain custody. Would love to get my hands on some of the Oregonian newspaper articles about that court case. Older family members remember it as being all over the newspapers. She and E.T. ultimately divorced, not once but twice and we haven't figured that out yet. And I'd sure like to be ablet o find the Huettle family, too on the off chance someone there might know about what happened. If the name sounds familiar to any of you, I can dig out some of the papers I have with their first names, etc. She married Charles CHAMERLAIN last. They had no children of that marriage. Fannie's brother, John Travis (he generally went by Travis) married MAXWELL from Bonanza. Would like to connect with some MAXWELL researchers or family. Her sister Christine HEUSTON committed suicide in 1915 and that made the front page of the Klamath paper. I have that article but would like to find out more info if possible. Thanks very much for your time. Sherre
