Janie Henderson from the Redding area and Gloria Atwater are related into these families. I have provided them with extensive information on these families. I have the 1900 Modoc County Census, early marriage records and some death records. My wife's connection is Ida Jane Henderson m. Ralph Renner dau of Luther M Henderson of Willow Ranch. We are yet trying to find the connection to the other Henderson's Her Uncle Ralph Renner and Aunt Ida had a Ranch on Oregon side of Goose Lake for many years. They (Janie& Gloria)would be thrilled to death to find another cousin. I also believe that Doris Lucas who has a ranch on the "West Side" is another cousin also. What would be nice for you to do would be to sign up to the Modoc list it is very active in North Eastern California and lake county (Lakeview). That list is [email protected] same sign on procedure as this list. I dont have the roots that you guys do in that area, but my parents did live a Malin for years, and I still have a sister in Klamath Falls. We had good friends in Bonanza for years, Peg & Doug Walls, I believe he had a business there in the sixites. I have also given them Information on the Howes, from my records. Please sign on and meet some new "Cousins" John Lewis in Modesto, Ca. By the way, you may know, but many of his Henderson ancestors are buried in the Davis Creek Cemetary. I have looked through this cemetary for them. You might also relate to Poindexter in that area. -----Original Message----- From: Ruth M Henderson <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, February 03, 1999 1:02 PM Subject: Re: [ORKLAMAT-L] SLACK >Yes Yes Yes that is where My husband Virgil Henderson was born in Willow >Ranch Thomas Oliver Henderson was my husband grandfather My dad Henry >Howe 1889-1891 and Virgils dad George Oliver Henderson 1888 were both >born in Alturas about .one of Virgils uncles Luther E henderson pastored >in New Pine Creek We Would Love any information we can getwill share any >we have anyone wants Ruthie Howe Henderson >On Wed, 3 Feb 1999 12:07:47 -0800 "Jon" <[email protected]> writes: >>Bettie Howe Henderson, did you have any Howe's or Henderson's down >>around >>New Pine Creek, or in that area of Oregon and northern California.
