As a further note, we have a good friend who is having trouble with cancer, and is very sick, they took her to Klamath Falls from Alturas, because of the facilities, so what I said about Tulelake is also true of NorthEastern California in general. Had she died there, the death records would be in Oregon, and not California. Always try the mortuary also, if there is one in Tulelake, someone could die in Klamath, but it may have been handled in Tulelake. I have had good luck with the mortuary in Alturas in some of the same situations.
