    3. Hi Pat, My great-grandparents (Czech) also purchased land in the Malin area in 1909. I was able to get the 1910 Census for Klamath County and have transcribed as much as I could for the Tulelake Precinct, area outside of Merrill. I can see if your g-uncle Anton Petrasek is listed in 1910 in this area -- I found my g-grandparents, et al in this area. However, I have to warn you that the microfilm for Klamath County, OR in 1910 was really poorly done, i.e., there are multiple images along with the fading ink problem, so there is loads of missing information where I just couldn't read. (I don't plan to do any more transcribing for this particular microfilm, since my primary objective was to find my great-grandparents.) As soon as I am able to neaten up things I will be submitting my transcription for placement on the internet. I will also be getting the 1920 Census Malin Precinct transcribed very shortly. I believe Cheers--Kat [email protected] > Subject: [ORKLAMAT-L] Tulelake > Date: Thu, 13 May 1999 20:53:51 -0700 > From: "Pat" <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > > Hi all, > > As the story goes, my g-uncle, Anton Petrasek, purchased 73 acres of land in > the Malin area in 1909, but had to live in Klamath for the first year he was > in Oregon.
