Herald & News Klamath Falls, Oregon May 28, 1968 Frank John, Lakeview Native Frank John, 78, son of the late Lakeview John, for whom the town of Lakeview was supposedly named, died in Nixon, Nev. Graveside services were held on Friday in the Nixon Indian Cemetery. John was born March 17, 1889, in Lakeview. He was a retired rancher and had been a resident of the Reno-Nixon area for the past 50 years.
