Evening Herald Klamath Falls, Oregon February 25, 1943 Ralph McKinley Ray, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene H. Ray of Chiloquin, passed away at the Klamath Agency on Wednesday, February 24, 1943, at 3:20 p.m. Ralph was a native of Klamath County and was aged 2 years, 2 months and 13 days when called. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Eugene of Portland, Ore., and Arlen of Chiloquin; grandfather, Ralph Ray of Los Angles, Calif., great-grandmother, Sally Jackson of Sprague River; also 3 uncles and 5 aunts. The funeral service will take place from the Williamson River Methodist Church on Sunday, February 28, 1943, at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend B.V. Bradshaw officiating. Ray----------Agency Lake Funeral services for Samuel Ervin Ray, 76, who died Thursday at his home at Agency Lake, were scheduled today in O'Hair's Chapel followed by final rites in Siskiyou Memorial Cemetery, Medford, Ore. Mr. Ray was born July 13, 1896, in Mist, and attended school in Vernonia. On July 11, 1917, in Hillsboro he was married to Sylvia Faye Wilkinson, who survives. The family resided in Chiloquin for 30 years before retiring and moving to Seaside 10 years ago. Mr. Ray was a veteran of WWI; a member of the National Grange; master mason of Chiloquin Lodge No. 197, A.F. & A.M. and life member of American Legion Post No. , Las Vegas, Nev.
