    3. Herald & News Klamath Falls, Oregon January 22, 1970 ROBERT L. DUMONT SR., FORT KLAMATH NATIVE Robert L. Dumont, Sr., a native of Fort Klamath, died January 21, 1970 in a Myrtle Creek hospital after a brief illness. He was born January 12, 1918, and had lived the past 51 years in Myrtle Creek, where he worked in the lumber business. He was married in Roseburg, December 9, 1950 to the former Amaryllis LaChance, who survives. Other survivors include daughters, Mrs. Roberta Fisher, Ontario; Marlene Miller, Klamath Falls; Mrs. Billy Howran, Roseburg, Susan, Cathy, Margaret, Patty, Linda, Christy and Sandy, all of Myrtle Creek; sons, Robert Jr., Woodburn, James, Salem, George and Buddy, Myrtle Creek; brothers, Felix, Klamath Falls, Joe, Chiloquin, and Ira, Hermiston; sister, Della Barber, San Francisco; 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 PM from Ganz Funeral Chapel, Myrtle Creek, with the Reverend Brendan Fleming of All Souls Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in Lavadore Cemetery near Days Creek. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herald & News Klamath Falls, Oregon April 14, 1995 Agnes Dumore Newton, 57, died Wednesday, April 12, 1995 in Myrtle Creek. Graveside services will be at 2 PM Saturday, April 15, 1995, at Wilson Cemetery in Chiloquin. Mrs. Newton was born March 4, 1938, at Klamath Agency. Survivors include her daughter, Joletta Garcia, Canby; son, Joseph Strikes the Heart, Jefferson; grandchildren, Wahtica, Danny, Raphael, Marcelno and Rosa Garcia, all Canby; Dereck, Joseph Jr., Cynthia and Alison Strikes the Heart. Her parents, Wiletta and Joe Dumore, preceded her in death. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OBIT March 11, 1931 Funeral services for the late George Dumore of Chiloquin were held in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chiloquin, at 2:30 this afternoon with Rev. Father Kevin Doyle officiating. Interment was made in the family plot in the Lobert Cemetery. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herald & News Klamath Falls, Oregon April 5, 1981 JOE DUMORE, 74, EX-CHILOQUIN MAN DIES Joe Dumore, 74, Hornbrook, Calif, a long time resident of the Chiloquin area, died in Yreka, Calif. on Thursday. Mr. Dumore was born April 6, 1906 . He was a native of Oregon. He attended school at the Klamath Agency Indian School in the Chiloquin area. He also attended Chemawa Indian School near Salem. He retired from the Forest Service, having served in Winema National Forest in the Chiloquin area. Survivors include his widow, Norine of Hornbrook; daughter, Agnes Newton of Chiloquin; stepdaughter, Debbie Lane of Klamath Falls; stepson, Bill Burk, of Medford; grandsons, Joseph Newton of Warm Springs; Michael Burk of Medford and Craig Lane of Klamath Falls; granddaughters, Sandy Lane of Klamath Falls, Kathy Burk of Medford and Jody Garcia of Chiloquin; great granddaughter, Tica Garcia of Chiloquin. Graveside services will be at 1 PM, Tuesday, in the Wilson Cemetery in Chiloquin.
