Herald and News Klamath Falls, Oregon November 27, 1990 Loreen "Auntie" Allen, 68, Alturas, died November 23, 1990, at Alturas Rancheria. She was born November 4, 1922, in Likely, the eldest daughter of Harry and Beaulah Allen. She spent most of her years working on ranches, mainly the Reed Ranch in Lakeview. Mrs. Allen was known extensively for her beadwork. She enjoyed attending powwows, sewing, gardening, travel, and her home life. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Bunnie and Edson DeGarmo, and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alvarita Kelly. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Federated Church in Alturas, with the Reverend Bob Ropp officiating.
