Evening Herald July 23, 1935 Chiloquin, Oregon Harley Jackson, about 20, and Alfred Butler, about 22, both of Sprague River, were injured late Monday afternoon, when the car they were driving overturned on the Pine Ridge Road about a half a mile north of here. Jackson suffered internal injuries in the accident, Butler was cut and brusied. Both Indian youths were taken to the Klamath Agency Hospital. The auto, property of Jackson's grandfather, William Turner Jackson, was completely demolished. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Eda Jackson of Chiloquin; a daughter, Julia Phyliss Jackson of Chiloquin; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jackson of Chiloquin; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Crain and Patricia Pauline Jackson of Chiloquin; two brothers, Alvin of Portland, Ore., and Harley of Chiloquin; grandmother, Ruth Jackson of Chiloquin; and uncle Patrick Jackson of Chiloquin. Alleging that through their neglect, 30 cords of wood belonging to him had been destroyed by fire.
