Evening Herald January 6, 1941 Steve Swain, a resident of Klamath County for the past 6 years, passed away at Klamath Agency on Sun., Jan. 5. The deceased was a native of Santa Rosa, Calif., and was aged 29 years when called. He is survived by his wife, Esther, and 2 daughters, Estella Faye and Wanda Mea, all of Beatty; a grandmother, Mrs. Ben Ross and 2 aunts, Catherine Mota and Gladys Bowman, all of Santa Rosa. There will be a morning service at 10 a.m. The funeral service will take place from the Beatty Church on Tues., Jan. 7 at 1 p.m., the Rev. Father Michael Ahearne of Chiloquin officiating.
