Klamath Republican Klamath Falls, Oregon September 17, 1913 HE HAS FAITH IN THE COUNTY After A Residence Of 60 Years, Old Timer Decides He Will Take Up A Homestead In Klamath Tom Lang, one of the old timers of this section, is in Klamath Falls from his homestead. Mr. Lang is 84 years of age, and has lived in this country since 1850. After over 60 years of residence he has finally decided that this section is good enough in which to make his home, and so decided to take up a homestead. ++++++ Evening Herald June 12, 1924 Tribal councilman Tom Lang from Williamson River left for Klamath Falls to have his eyes treated. ++++++ Evening Herald July 28, 1924 Chiloquin - Tribal councilman Tom Lang and daughters, Della and Loutella, also granddaughter, Rose Mary, left for Klamath Falls in the interests of the Klamath Tribe. ++++++ Herald & News June 1, 1959 Thomas H. Lang, 84, a native of Klamath County, died at his home on the Williamson River May 31. He is survived by the widow, Lulu; two daughters, Evelyn Cheraldo and LouTella Moore; two sons, Delford Lang and Ellsworth Lang, all of Chiloquin; also 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. O'Hairs will announce the funeral arrangements. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herald & News July 18, 1969 Word has been received from Milwaukie of the death this morning of a former executive of the Klamath Indian Tribal Council. Delford Lang was born in Klamath County, May 24, 1897, and has lived in Klamath Falls and the Chiloquin area all his life until he moved to Milwaukie in 1959. He was 72 years old. He is survived by his wife, Ruby; 3 daughters, Elizabeth, Theresa and Zelmarine; a son, Delford; and a grandson, James Allen, all of Milwaukie; two other grandsons, Mike Barfield of Chiloquin and Glen Fitzwater of Reno, Nev; 2 sisters, Loutella Moore and Evelyn Cheraldo, a brother, Ellsworth Lang, all of Chiloquin.
