Evening Herald June 18, 1929 Jess Schonchin, well known resident of Sprague River passed away Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. He is survived by his wife, Lottie Schonchin; 6 daughters, Leola, Doris, Vera, Wilma, Patricia and Magdaline; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schonchin; brothers, Cain and Riggs; one half-brother, Bryant; three sisters, Mrs. Angelina Walker, Mrs. June Chipp and Margaret Schonchin; half-sister, Mrs. Ellen Hecocta. He was born in Klamath County and aged 37 years at the time of his death. Friends are respectfully invited to attend the services to be held Wednesday afternoon at the residence at Sprague River at 2 o'clock.
