    3. June 20, 1922 Chiloquin, Oregon The many friends of Winfield Jackson were shocked to hear of his death Tuesday afternoon. He has been sick for a few months but he was reported a little better last week. He had just passed his 18th birthday and had many friends among the young people. He is survived by a mother, father, two brothers and sister, all of Chiloquin. The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon. He was buried at Wilson Cemetery, a few miles below here. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 25, 1940 Johnny Jackson, a young Indian who was one of Klamaths promising candidates for ring honors on the Pacific Coast a few years ago, died Thursday moring at Hillside Hospital. He suffered internal injuries in a horse accident on the Jim Johnson ranch at Modoc Point last Tuesday. Young Johnny Jackson, as he was billed on fight cards during his ring career, fought in numerous local matches and in other cities on the Pacific Coast in the years from 1931-1935. He was 30 years old when he died. +++++++ April 25, 1940 Johnny Jackson, a resident of Modoc Point, passed away in this city on Thursday, April 25. The deceased was a native of North Fork, Calif., and was aged 30 years when called. He is survived by his wife, Dianah, of Calif., father, William; sister, Julia and a grandfather, all of Calif. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- July 14, 1924 Chiloquin, Oregon Harry Jackson, local rancher, returned from a trip to Sacramento, where he purchased a new Oldsmobile through the Winema Auto Company of Klamath Falls. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evening Herald Klamath Falls, Oregon May 8, 1926 Captain Applegate left this noon for Beatty to attend the last rites for Albert Hotches Jackson. Jackson fought in the Modoc War and was a close friend of the Captain's.
