Hello list, I am hoping someone out there has knowledge of a small pox epidemic that took place in the mid 1920s in Klamath Falls Oregon. My father was one of the young people that contracted small pox after (the story goes) an American Indian cemetery was moved for road construction. Some of the people buried in the cemetery had died from small pox, when the graves were disturbed the small pox virus was released into the air. Has anyone heard of this epidemic in the 1920s in Klamath Falls? Thanks for any help given. Sharon Madera, Ca.
