Herald & News July 14, 1944 Ab Captain, a resident of Chiloquin, Ore., passed away in that city on Thursday, July 13, 1944 at 9:50 a.m. The deceased was a native of the Klamath Reservation, and was aged 87 years when called. He is survived by 2 daughters, Fanny Jackson and Edna Jackson, Chiloquin; one son, Ted, of Chiloquin; three granddaughters, Phyliss Jackson, Chiloquin, Ore; Eva Ball, Portland, Ore; and Lola Gallagher, of Ashland, Ore; also 3 great-grandchildren, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 1 great niece and a great nephew. ++++++ Herald & News July 14, 1944 The funeral service for the late Ab Captain who passed away at his home in Chiloquin, Ore; on Thursday, July 13, 1944 will take place from the Methodist Church at Williamson River on Monday July 17, 1944 at 2 p.m., the Rev. Ross Ferguson officiating. The commitment service and interment will follow in the family plot in the Wilson Cemetery. There will be a morning servie commencing at 10 a.m. Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
