Evening Herald Klamath Falls, Oregon April 6, 1936 Jane Catherine Johnston, for the last 2 years a resident of Klamath County, passed away at her late residence in Chiloquin, Oregon Saturday, April 4, 1936, at 3:20 p.m., following an illness of 1 year. She was a native of British Columbia and at the time of her death was aged 81 years, 3 months and 9 days. Surviving are three sons, Henry Johnston of Chiloquin, Ore., Joseph Johnston, Avon, Ore., and Charles Rewert of Medford, Ore., also two daughters, Mrs. K.E. Gale of Chiloquin, and Mrs. Retha Gale of Sacramento, Calif. Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services to be held Wednesday morning at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chiloquin where a requiem mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul, commencing at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Alphonse M. Steder, O.S.B. officiating. Interment to follow in Wilson Cemetery.
