Oregonian December 04, 1935 INDIAN MATRIARCH, 107, LAID TO REST IN KLAMATH BASIN KLAMATH FALLS, Dec. 3 (AUP) Mary Lalakes, 107, the last survivor of a prominent Klamath Indian family, was buried in the Wilson Cemetery near Williamson River on the reservation Monday. Her entire life was spent on the reservation. Mrs. Lalakes was present when the treaty with the United States government was signed at old Fort Klamath in 1868.
